Making drawings was indispensable throughout the decades spent on this project. An inner movement drawn on paper separated the observer from the observed, in this case one and the same person. The drawings externalized sensations, and once removed from the personal realm any movement could be handled like one other material on hand     The drawings evolved in the following manner Ñ Impacted by an experience, I would relive the physical or metal sensations and trace them on paper. Then note on the drawing where in the body or the brain a sensation first surfaced, in what direction it moved, activated what other sensation, and where it faded away. Though most of the movements shown in the drawings are based on observations of my own person, some connections and pattern configurations were inferred, intuited or imagined.
